Bibliometric Services: Workshop information
This page provides access to all of the presentation slides, software, and practice files that will be used during the workshop portion of the NIH Library / SLA Maryland symposium entitled "Bibliometrics and Research Assessment: A Symposium for Librarians and Information Professionals" on November 1st.
To follow along with the hands-on portions of the workshop, participants will need to bring their own laptops. Participants will also need to download and install the software and practice files listed on this page prior to the workshop.
Resources from the program on October 31, including videos of the keynotes and pdf versions of the posters, are now available from the SLA Maryland Chapter at http://bit.ly/2gMqQsn. These resources will also be made available on this site once they have been made appropriately accessible.
Getting there and around
Directions and visitor information for the main NIH campus: https://www.nih.gov/about-nih/visitor-information/getting-nih
Note: all visitors will need to go through a security check to enter NIH and be issued a visitor pass. Please have your ID with you and allow at least 30-40 minutes for this process.
If you drive and come to the gateway center on Rockville Pike, there’s a visitor parking lot that you can use without having your car inspected. Note that you still need to get through a security check in this case.
